ALBANIA
ORPHAN SPONSORSHIP
Two hundred orphans are sponsored in Albania. Each orphan receives an allowance of £25 per month for food, clothing and education.
BOOKS DISTRIBUTION
Islamic books are being distributed in Tirana, Korce and Shkoder.

TEACHER SPONSORSHIP
Ten teachers are being given monthly support to teach the Qur’an for free in madrassahs.
MASJID RENOVATION
A masjid in the town of Gjorm is being renovated.
BANGLADESH
HAND PUMPS
1,170 hand pumps are being installed in different areas of Panchagarh, Dinajpur, & Thakurgaon districts.
ORPHAN SPONSORSHIP
118 orphans are currently being sponsored. Each orphan receives an allowance of £25 per month which covers their nutritional, health and educational needs.
NEW LIVELIHOODS
Breadwinners from 84 struggling families will be provided with the means to generate an income. Rickshaws, mulching cows, sewing machines and kiosks will all be provided.
MEDICAL TREATMENT
Fifty expectant mothers are being provided with free ante natal care for 44 weeks.
BURMA
TEACHER SPONSORSHIP
One hundred fifty teachers receive monthly support, so children can be taught for free.
ORPHANAGE SUPPORT
Food assistance is provided to two under-funded orphanages.
ORPHAN SPONSORSHIP
150 orphans are being given monthly support.
CHECHNYA
ORPHAN SPONSORSHIP
100 orphans in and around Grozny are being monthly support.
SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
The families of 3 orphaned children with disabilities are receiving financial assistance.
NEW LIVELIHOODS
Business start-ups are currently being set-up for 29 widows. Start-ups include cattle breeding, administration support and baking.
HAITI
MEDICAL CLINIC
Each month, around 500 patients in Mirgoane (and surrounding areas) are given free treatment and advice.
GAMBIA
QUR’AN DISTRIBUTION
Thousands of mushafs and textbooks on the Qur’an are being distributed in rural areas across Gambia.
SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION
Fifteen new classrooms are currently being built.

280 Hifdh students are being given monthly support in order to learn the Qur’an.

IRAQ
EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE
Food baskets and hygiene kits have been provided to 1,050 displaced families in central Iraq.
INCOME GENERATION
A vocational training centre is being established in Bahrka camp, Irbil, for internally displaced widows, divorced women, and the wives of missing men. One hundred women are being trained and provided with sewing machines and other items.
KASHMIR
ORPHAN SPONSORSHIP
Monthly grants of £25 are being provided to 232 orphans in Azad Kashmir.
WIDOW SUPPORT
One hundred and thirty two widows are receiving monthly support.
MEDICAL AID
A clinic in Kotli provides free treatment and medicines to poor rural persons.
MALAWI
MOBILE MEDICAL CLINICS
A mobile clinic is providing free treatment to the residents of 6 villages in the district of Katema.
SCHOOLS SUPPORT
Thirteen schools in Malawi are being subsidised to ensure that free education can be provided to poor rural children.
VOCATIONAL TRAINING
Two hundred young unemployed persons are being given vocational training.
MEDICAL AID
To help with the provision of free medical treatment, a medical clinic in Blantyre is being supported with free medicines.
MASJID CONSTRUCTION
This is an ongoing project where a new masjid in the village of Mikuti will provide free teaching and worship services for approximately 100 families.
NEPAL
HOUSING PROJECT
After the earth quake in April, UWT will rebuilding houses for 10 families in Gorkha district.
PAKISTAN
UMMAH CHILDREN ACADEMY
Approximately 700 orphans board at this orphanage and receive a free comprehensive education.
NEW MUSLIM SPONSORSHIP
Children, previously working as bonded labourers, are being provided with monthly support, including food, clothing and education assistance.
UMMAH CHILDREN ACADEMY IN WANA
An orphanage in South Waziristan Agency supports hundreds of orphans with free education, food and clothing.
ORPHAN SPONSORSHIP
Monthly cash assistance is provided to the guardians of 697 orphans across the country.
TEACHER SPONSORSHIP
162 teachers are reimbursed for their efforts so that thousands of children can learn and study the Qur’an for free.
WIDOWS SUPPORT
Over a hundred widows receive financial support so that they and their families’ needs can be met.
MASJID CONSTRUCTION
Masjids are being built in Khyber Pakhthunkhwa, Sindh and Punjab.
UCA EXTENSION
A new extension is being constructed for the Ummah Children Academy in Nowshera. The extension, with an added water tanker, will provide accommodation for full-time staff.
DIALYSIS TREATMENT
Seven patients a day receive free dialysis treatment at Ummah Welfare Trust’s centre in Swabi.
HOUSE CONSTRUCTION
Eleven homeless families in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will receive new homes in this latest programme.
WATER WELLS
352 wells are currently being installed across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Punjab.
UMMAH CENTRE FOR THE DISABLED
Sixty two children, with special needs, receive comprehensive support, including education, rehabilitation and nutrition.
AQEEQAH
172 small and 8 large animals have been sacrificed; its meat cooked and provided to children at the UCA and nearby madrassahs.
HIFDH SPONSORSHIP
Five hundred young students are being supported to memorise the Noble Qur’an.
CATARACT SURGERY
Eye camps are providing free surgery to hundreds of patients through the year.
SEWING CENTRE
New project under which two Embroidery Training Centres will be established in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Waziristan
UMMAH CENTRE FOR THE BLIND
This Project will provide much needed ambulances in the Rawalpindi area which provides a free service to the poor people in need.
SLAVERY TO FREEDOM
Under this project we have 120 families being identified in Sindh and their debts will be paid off to land lords so they will be freed. These families will be shifted to District Umar kot and will be provided all basic needs for a period of four months.
QURAN DISTRIBUTION
This is our regular project in Pakistan. Under this project a total number of four thousand Holy Quran, will be distributed among the needy Maktab & Masajid in Khyber Pukhtoon khwa.
TECHNICAL COLLEGE
This will be established adjacent to UCA premises to provide an easy way to the poor and needy students of district Nowshera for completing their technical education where various technologies courses will be offered including surveying, draftsman & CAD, electrician and carpentry. The college will be an easy and approachable gateway for 240 poor and needy student who are determined for completing their technical education for a bright future.
EID GIFTS
5000 Eid gifts were distributed among the orphans, disabled and most needy and deserving children of
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
PALESTINE
FOOD VOUCHER PROJECT
250 families receive a £25 food voucher every month. They then purchase their day to day needs from selected supermarkets.
ORPHAN SPONSORSHIP
The sponsorship provides £25 per month to 1100 orphans to assist them in their day to day living.
WATER DISTRIBUTION PROJECT FOR GAZA
This project provides clean drinking water directly to households who do not have a direct supply of water and for 20 schools in Gaza. 14,000 students, 200 families.
TRAUMA CENTRE
This is a new project in Palestine. The construction of a two story building has begun. The centre will provide continued psycho social support to trauma victims in Gaza.
HIFZ SPONSORSHIP
Under this project a total of 100 Hafiz and 10 teachers being sponsored in Palestine. Hifz sponsorship is £300 per year
ORPHAN SUPPORT PROGRAMME
287 new orphans enrolled for a period of one year in this project. Each orphan receive allowance of £ 25 per month for food , clothing and education
HOUSE CONSTRUCTION
87 special hardship cases have been selected for the project. Construction has started.
MEDICAL EQUIPMENT’S FOR NASSER AND AQSA HOSPITAL
Supplying & Installing Medical Equipment’s for Nasser and Aqsa hospital is on-going.
FOOD VOUCHER
Under this project UWT will deliver the below humanitarian aid to 2500 families in Gaza. Each of the 2500 families receives a £50 food voucher every month. They then purchase their day to day needs from selected supermarkets.
MEDICAL AID
UWT will provide the following in Gaza: Provision of artificial limbs to 8 children, Medical aid devices for 20 disable and amputees children. Surgical operation will also be carried for 20 children.
WATER TANKER
This project is for the purchase of a water tanker, this will enable the distribution of clean water to houses, schools, masjids and those who need it.
SPECIAL HARDSHIP CASES
19 special hardship cases have been completed and 19 houses built.
CONSTRUCTION AND DIGGING OF WATER WELLS
Under this project we aim to deliver much needed clean water to the Al-Mintar area.
SCHOOL EXTENSION
Under this project UWT will construct 3 class rooms on the 2nd floor of As Suffa school.
PHILIPPINES
DA’WAH CENTRE
The Da’wah centre offers free education service to children.
ORPHAN SPONSORSHIP
50 orphans receive a monthly allowance of £25 per month which will cover their monthly living expenses
HOUSE CONSTRUCTION
This is a new project under which 100 houses will be constructed for vulnerable families who don’t have a proper shelter and live in poor condition.
HIFZ SPONSORSHIP
150 students being sponsored enabling for them to learn the Holy Quran.
WATER WELLS
The installation of 138 wells in Phillipines completed in September. These wells are much need to provide safe, portable drinking water to the rural population who don’t have access to a direct supply of water.
INCOME GENERATION PROJECT
Under this project the following 39 businesses will be setup for widows and poor women headed families. 13 Tea Shops, 4 Sewing Machines, 2 Vegetable selling stores and 10 Small stores.
SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION
This is a new project. Under which 6 Makatib will be constructed in various areas of Philippines.
SOMALIA
3 WATER TANKERS
This project provides internally displaced persons in Mogadishu with a daily supply of clean, potable water.
ORPHANS / ORPHANGE
There are 350 orphans (boys and girls) who reside in the orphanage in Baidoa. Monthly cost is £25 for each orphan, which covers all their day to day needs.
UMMAH CENTRE FOR THE BLIND
Under this project UWT will support a school in Somalia in order to provide free education to blind children.
BIADOA MEDICAL CLINIC
This is an exceptional medical centre in Baidoa which provides free medical care, treatment and medication to hundreds of patients per year. 1050 Patients per month.
TEACHER SPONSORSHIP
This is a new project where we will support 55 teachers who will teach Islamic education in 4 regions in Somalia: To initiate primary education for the children of needy people at large. To facilitate the children of Ummah getting Islamic studies, To spread knowledge and eradicate illiteracy. To support teacher within the area who are financially poor.
SUDAN
ORPHAN SPONSORSHIP
62 Orphans, each orphan receives an allowance of £25 per month for food, clothing and education.
FOOD AID
Under this project UWT provided food aid in Dar Altahfeez education to 68 poor students for one year.
EDUCATION CENTRE
Under this project UWT will provide funds for the running expenses of of Umar Ibn Khattab centre in Kassala.
SYRIA
BREAD FACTORY
UWT installed a bread bakery in the village Tal Al Karama, Idlib. The bakery provides free bread to 1600 families on daily basis in different locations.
SCHOOL SUPPORT
Under this project Alresalah & Al Noor school will be refurbished, teachers will recruited and all the teaching material, books etc. will be purchased and given to children to get free education.
ORPHAN SUPPORT
Each orphan receives an allowance of $50 per month for food, clothing and education. 1000 Orphans.
BABUL HAWA HOSPITAL SUPPORT
Under this project UWT will pay salaries of 30 people which include doctors, technician and other staff of Babul Hawa hospital.
EMERGENCY RELIEF
Under this project UWT will provide over 7000 families in Arsal camp, Al Ghouta, Idleb, Hama and Deir Zor.
PAEDIATRIC SURGERY CENTRE
This project will fully equip the paediatric surgery unit in Babul Hawa Hospital, in Syria together with supporting the medical team for 3 months.
UK
FEED THE HOMELESS
Under this project UWT will provide cooked food, water and fruit to 150 poor elderly people in Slough on weekly basis for 44 weeks.
QURAN DISTRIBUTION
Under this project UWT intends to raise awareness of Islam by distributing free Qurans to 6,000 people worldwide.
YEMEN
EMERGENCY RELIEF
Under this project UWT will provide food aid to 580 internally displaced families in Aden, Lahij, Abyan, Khokha camp and other needed areas.
Qurbani 2015
Qurbani 2015 took place across 17 countries where UWT sacrificed 7,395 small animals and 5,130
large animal. The countries that benefited are Afghanistan, Albania, Bangladesh, Chechnya, Gambia,
India, Iraq, Kashmir, Malawi, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Senegal, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and
Yemen.
