Writing Lesson:

Last week you designed your own seaside and wrote a list of fun things you can do at the seaside. Today you are going to plan out your seaside leaflet. A tourist leaflet is a text used to persuade someone to visit a place. You convince them to come visit by telling them all about how fun and exciting your seaside is and you give them lots of reasons to explain why it is a place they absolutely MUST visit. A good leaflet will include pictures of the most convincing reasons (e.g. a picture of an ice cream cone would definitely be a good idea!) Today you are going to plan your leaflet. In each box write one reason why your reader should visit the seaside. In the bigger box below draw an picture to match your reason. The first one has been done for you.
