LIBRARY NEWS

Thank you to all the staff and families for supporting another successful

Christmas Book Fair.

It was lovely to see everyone visiting our Library and seeing the hundreds of books that were on offer. The Book Fair sales provide us with a fantastic commission which provides new books for our Library.

Book borrowing has now ceased for 2015.

We ask for you to please ensure all books

are returned this week.

All books need to be returned before our Library moves over to a new system called OLIVER in the next week. If you cannot find your library books please contact Mrs Dunn or Mrs Ewings as soon as possible.

McDonalds/Magill Tennis Day

Last Wednesday, children from Stages 1, 2 and 3

represented our school at the annual McDonalds/

Magill Tennis Day. The teams which consisted of

eight players from each stage played matches

against children from Parkes Public, Holy Family

and Middleton schools.

Throughout the day there were many enjoyable

close matches. All games were played in great

spirit. The children were fine representatives of

our school both on and off the court. Despite the

very warm weather conditions,

the children thoroughly enjoyed

the day and gained lots of

experience. The barbecue lunch

was very popular as well. Well

done girls and boys.

SRC Christmas Hamper Raffle The Presentation Night is fast approaching and traditionally we sell raffle tickets for a Christmas Hamper at this school event.

If you could please donate non-perishable items to this special hamper, it would be greatly appreciated. Examples of what to donate could include, tins of food, biscuits, lollies, sauces, wrapping paper, cards, etc.

A free ticket will be given to students who donate items for the hamper.
