Step: 1

First you get the rectangular object to use as a backboard (could be wood, cardboard, plastic, etc.)

Step: 2

At the bottom of the rectangle, cut a rectangle near the middle. This is where the rim will be attached.

Step: 3

Use a pliers/hammer to bend the end of the rim up so that it can be attached to the back board.

Step: 4

Tape or screw the rim into the rim to the backboard.

Step: 5

If you did not already, design your backboard.
