Cutting Instructions:Fabric A: Main Panel - Multi• Fussy cut one 20 ½” x 23 ½” large panel.• Fussy cut four 8 ½” squares each centered on a small panel.
Fabric B: Leaves – Tan• Cut four 2” x 23 ½” Width of Fabric (WOF) strips.• Cut two 2” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into eight 2” x 8 ½” strips.• Cut three 2” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into eight 2” x 11 ½” strips.• Cut seven 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding.
Fabric C: Stamps – Aqua• Cut two 3 ½” x 25 ½” WOF strips.• Cut two 3 ½” x 22 ½” WOF strips.
Fabric D: Basket Weave – Jungle• Cut four 1 ½” x 31 ½” WOF strips.• Cut four 1 ½” x 28 ½” WOF strips.
Fabric E: Birds – White• Cut two 8 ½” x 31 ½” Length of Fabric (LOF) strips.• Cut two 8 ½” x 28 ½” LOF strips.
Fabric F: Batik – Aqua• Cut three 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut two 2 ½” x 51 ½” strips.• Cut three 3” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut two 3” x 52 ½” strips.• Cut seven 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into (112) 2 ½” squares.
Fabric G: Leaves – Green• Cut one 3 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut the strip into four 3 ½” squares.• Cut seven 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into fifty-eight 4 ½” squares.
Backing: Photos – Multi• Cut two 68” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together and trim to 68” x 72” for the pieced back.

Sew one 2” x 23 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of one Fabric A large panel. Sew one 2” x 23 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A large panel to make the Center Block (Fig. 1). Trim the block to measure 22 ½” x 25 ½”.
Sew one 2” x 8 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of one 8 ½” Fabric A small panel. Sew one 2” x 11 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A small panel to make one Block One square (Fig. 2). Trim the block to measure 10 ½” x 10 ½”.
Place one 2 ½” Fabric F square on the lower left corner of one 4 ½” Fabric G square, right sides together (Fig. 3). Sew across the diagonal of the smaller square from the upper left corner to the lower right corner (Fig. 3). Flip open the triangle formed and press. Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle 1/4" away from the sewn seam (Fig. 4).
Follow Figure 5 for the seam direction to add a 2 ½” Fabric F square to the lower right corner of the 4 ½” Fabric G square to make one Unit 1 square (Fig. 6). Repeat to make fifty-four Unit 1 squares total.
Place one 2 ½” Fabric F square on the lower right corner of one 4 ½” Fabric G square, right sides together. Sew across the diagonal of the smaller square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner. Flip open the triangle formed and press. Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle 1/4" away from the sewn seam to make one Unit 2 square (Fig. 7). Repeat to make four Unit 2 squares total.

Sew one 1 ½” x 31 ½” Fabric D strip to each side of one 8 ½” x 31 ½” Fabric E strip lengthwise to make one Unit 3 strip (Fig. 8). Repeat to make a second Unit 3 strip.
Sew one 1 ½” x 28 ½” Fabric D strip to the top and to the bottom of one 8 ½” x 28 ½” Fabric E strip lengthwise to make one Unit 4 strip (Fig. 9). Repeat to make a second Unit 4 strip.
Sew together fourteen Unit 1 squares to make one Side Border Strip (Fig. 10). Pay attention to the unit orientations. Repeat to make a second Side Border Strip.

Sew together two Unit 2 squares and thirteen Unit 1 squares to make one Top Border Strip. Pay attention to the unit orientations. Repeat to make one Bottom Border Strip. Pay attention to the unit orientations.
Sew one 3 ½” x 25 ½” Fabric C strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew one 3 ½” Fabric G square to each end of one 3 ½” x 22 ½” Fabric C strip to make one Top Inner Border Strip. Repeat to make one Bottom Inner Border Strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.
Sew one Unit 3 strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew one Block One square to each end of one Unit 4 strip to make one Top Middle Border Strip. Repeat to make one Bottom Middle Border Strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

Quilt Layout
Sew one 2 ½” x 51 ½” Fabric F strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew one 3” x 52 ½” Fabric F strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.
Sew one Side Border Strip to each side of the Center Block. Pay attention to the strip orientation. Sew one Top Border Strip and one Bottom Border Strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top. Pay attention to the strip orientations.
Sew the seven 2 ½” x WOF Fabric B strips together end-to-end with 45-degree seams to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.
