Notes to facilitators သငတနးနညးျမားအတ ကမတစ မား This session is linked to the activities on rule of law principles and working with vulnerable groups. In the session on rule of law principles, participants discussed how the rule of law requires that legal rules are publicly announced and that the government make decisions publicly and transparently. These goals can only truly be achieved if the public has a real opportunity to find out what the law is, how it applies to them and how they can use it to improve their lives. By learning how to engage their communities, participants can help further the rule of law by making legal rules more widely known and better understood. The session on vulnerable groups is also important because more vulnerable groups are less likely to have access to lawyers and other expensive forms of legal advice.
