If you’re an employer who currently employs a general building operative, then this is a route to having a well-qualified, motivated work force trained to meet industry needs.

Free apprentice registration with the awarding body and lead body

Apprentice registration with Scotland and Northern Ireland Joint Industry Board Plumbing) which also provides a site card

No registrations costs for any additional testing/training required, including CSCS training, PASMA Scaffold Tower training

Minimum paperwork and administration throughout the programme

Attendance Pattern

Apprentices attend South Lanarkshire College on a programme of block release. This varies for each trade area.

Eligibility

Certain eligibility criteria must be met to qualify for funding but this is a guide only as it can change throughout the funding year. We would always recommend that you speak to someone to check:
