Mission Critical

AG&E Structural Engenuity has expertise in the most complex building programs imaginable, including mission critical facilities. Our firm is at the forefront of mission critical design and engineering.

Our experience ranges from interior retrofits for data center campuses spanning over a million square feet to corporate headquarters with command and control centers, to military installations with top secret clearance. Regardless of the building type, these facilities offer state-of-the-art security with specialized infrastructures built to withstand the worst disasters imaginable

Our firm is currently working on confidential data centers for energy and power related clients. Our team members completed the required training by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and North American Electric Reliability Corporation Critical Infrastructure Protection (NERC CIP). Project Echo required everyone with access to the project details to complete Level 1 training including principals, project managers, designers, and office administrators and are required to complete a yearly certification process.

CyrusOne-CarrolltonNew Data CenterDallas, Texas

Our firm is the structural engineer on the 670,000-square-foot data center in Carrollton for Cyrus One. It is one of the largest facility in the state and one of the most energy-efficient in the United States. The modular scale is large enough to hold four football fields or 15 space shuttles; everything is bigger in Texas! The data center campus at full build will deliver 400,000 square feet of raised-floor data center space and approximately 60,000 square feet of Class A office space. It is designed to meet LEED Silver certification.

QualityTechnologyServicesNew Data CenterIrving, Texas

Currently we are providing structural engineering services transforming the former 700,000 square foot Maxim semiconductor manufacturing facility into a state-of-the-art data center. Initially the planned build-out is to total over 200,000 sq. ft. of raised floor expandable to support 600,000 sq. ft. of raised floor. Located on a 40-acre campus in the Irving/Las Colinas area, it has the ability to double the footprint on the existing campus to over 1.4 million square feet. At final build out, the construction budget could reach almost $1 Billion.

ProjectBluegrass-RedSiteandBlueSiteNew Data CenterLouisville, Kentucky

The Project Bluegrass Data Centers represent a 200,000 ft data center program in Louisville, KY to house a corporations main data processing facilities. The two identical sites were completed on a staggered 14-month schedule and 80,000 sf of raised floor. The design team maximized the owner’s budget on the project with an efficient layout system that ultimately minimized de-rating requirements in a challenging thermal environment.
