Eucharistic Adoration is the adoration of Jesus Christ Himself, present in the Holy Eucharist. During Adoration, the Eucharist is exposed in a beautiful golden vessel called a monstrance. From the altar, our Lord gazes at us in the Eucharist wanting us to give Him our hearts, burdens, sufferings, joys and sorrows so that He may transform and sanctify us. In the silence of our hearts, we are able to go before Him to love and adore Him simply because He is God. St. Ann’s offers Eucharistic Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every Tuesday from 12:30pm to 8:00pm. At present, we have one time slot that needs to be filled. We prefer to have two adorers present during each hour in case of absence or sickness of one of the adorers. We ask that you consider committing yourself to one hour each Tuesday in Eucharistic Adoration. It will definitely be an hour well spent Please contact Jill at 452- 0566 for more information or to schedule your prayful time CIRCLE YOUR CALENDAR THIRD SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH FROM 9:00 AM TO 11:00 AM RECYCLING DAY. Please bring your newspapers & aluminum cans to be recycled. Where behind the Rectory, just off the alley. If we had more truck space, we would collect cardboard also (Hint!). If the weather on the third Saturday of the month is below 32 degrees and/or snowing, there will be no recycling. I am always in need of additional folks with pick ups or an able body individual who is willing to give 3 hours once a month toward this endeavor to be good stewards of God’s environment. Blessings all PJ Sheldon.
