Ingredients 1 pound cooked ground meat (beef, turkey, or mild Italian pork sausage without the casings) 1 28 ounce can of crushed tomatoes with basil 1 6 ounce can of tomato paste 1 cup water 6 oven ready lasagna noodles 1 cup ricotta cheese 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese plus more for sprinkling on top 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese 1 egg 1/2 tsp basil Instructions • Preheat oven to 450 degrees. • Combine ground meat and crushed tomato in a medium bowl. Combine water and tomato paste in a measuring cup and whisk to combine. Add to the meat mixture and stir. Combine and stir ricotta cheese, mozzarella, parmesan cheese, egg and basil in a medium bowl. •Break a lasagna noodles in half so you have 12 pieces. •Spread one or two spoonfuls of the cheese mixture on the lasagna pieces. Spread one or two spoonfuls of the sauce on the bottom of a mini loaf pan and then place a lasagna piece on top of the sauce in the loaf pan. This is the first layer. Spread one or two spoonfuls of the sauce on top of the cheese and lasagna noodle in the pan, then add another noodle on top. This is the second layer. •Spread one or two spoonfuls of the sauce on top of the cheese and lasagna noodle in the pan, then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. Repeat this process in the remaining loaf pans. Lightly cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. •Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 - 10 minutes so the lasagna can set.
