The company has pledged to continueits work in sustaining the environment not onlythrough Afforestation and related activities butalso through continued development of scientificpollution control practices and involvement in allenvironment related issues. Prabhu,.General.manager (Mktg.) stated that Baldota Group of Companies is the largest exporting company in IndiatO Export Iron Ore to China. The Group also diversified into non-conventional energy and manufacturing IndustrialGases. 21st August 2004 was a red letter day for Baldota Group of Companies when it dedicatedanother 200 Cum/Hr Oxygen plant at Munirabad, which was inaugurated by Mr. S. Ravi, Supdt. of Police, Koppal.Sri A.H. Baldota, Group Chairman & Managing Director blessed the occasion.

STUMMING STONE TO MAKE MUSICDr. S. Krishnamurthy, IPS, and Retd. D.G.P has taken up a project to make a musical documentary on HampeHeritage entitled “Ballad of Stones — Reminiscences of Hampe”. The documentary involves extensivepasteurization at several archeological sites in the region at various places of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Thedocumentary is prepared so that the presentation can be brought to a wider audience, both national and internationaland telecasted on the National net work with Hindi / English text and subtitles.
