GENERAL NOTES

Situation Rose Tree Farm lies only 200 yards from the Miners Arms Public House in Milltown and has access from both Ashover and Tansley. From the centre of Ashover take Hockley Lane towards Stretton and Milltown on the B6036. Continue for approximately ¾ mile and at the severe bend turn downhill into Fallgat signed for Milltown. Follow the lane down approximately ¼ mile and go over the river bridge with the Miners Arms Inn lying on the right. Continue up the bank with Rose Tree Farm lying on the left. From Tansley pick up the B6014 towards Woolley Moor and continue down over the bank on Butterley Lane for approximately 3 miles. At the bottom of the bank pick up Oakstedge Lane signposted Milltown and travel approximately 2/3 mile down into the village. The farm lies on the right just before the Miners Arms Inn.

‘To the Sale’ and ‘Car Park’ signs will be erected on the morning of the sale.

Export Purchasers – All goods must be paid for in pounds sterling (£).

VAT on Export Goods – Under regulations imposed by HM Customs & Excise, the auctioneers must account in a proper manner for VAT on export goods. Therefore, any customers who have no trading pattern record with the auctioneers must pay all VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums.

Buyers Premium – No buyers premium will be payable at this sale.

Telehandler Loading Facilities – Telehandler loading facilities will be available on site up until approximately 5.00pm on sale day. Loading It is the responsibility of the purchaser to arrange for the safe loading & transport of all and any purchases. Bagshaws are under no obligation to provide assistance in loading but on occasion they will do their best to help provided that it is not putting themselves, the purchaser or other people at risk of injury. For large, heavy and unwieldy items, specialist loading and transportation will be required for example bulk bins and tanks. The decision made by Bagshaws will be final. The sale at Rose Tree Farm comprises a genuine retirement dispersal and many locals will know that the Towndrow family have traded at Rose Tree Farm for four generations. The most recent business involving Flymo and Agricultural Engineering was established in 1964 and there are a massive range of parts, spares and sundry equipment for genuine dispersal. Rose Tree Farm is currently being marketed by Bagshaws, Bakewell Property Department which leaves an excellent range of Vintage and Classic Tractors, Parts, Land Rover tied items and other sundries for dispersal. Purchasers should also note that the trading business was not registered for VAT purposes and all goods at the sale will be sold free of VAT. This is a varied auction and purchasers should attend and bid at the wide variety of lots for genuine sale.
