Develops exemplary ensemble musicianship with exercises specifically geared forbuilding true ensemble sound. Every aspect of ensemble playing is introducedindividually, in developmental order, then combined for more advanced practice.
• Written as a guided practice routine for full ensembles, students will learn to purposefully and consistently practice each skill until proficiency is achieved
• Each exercise is designed to develop an “ensemble concept” using specificStudent Goals and Director Reminders

Student Goals/Director Reminders
Each exercise focuses on a specific ensemble concept and includes 6-12 focus areas(“Student Goals”) that direct players in how to achieve the concept.
