ORGANISATION CULTURE

Previous culture of Microsoft followed by Bill Gates was nothing but dictatorship

According to him new employees should be hired in the company with the same mindset

In his era, the employees didn’t have a platform to innovate

But now under the leadership of Satya Nadella the organization culture of Microsoft has been simplified

Recommendation And Solution

The change in business culture is necessary for Microsoft

This ‘eat what you kill’ culture will not succeed

Microsoft needs to take some visible changes which can provide their employees a platform to innovate

They can apply Positive Model of Planned Change in their organization

CURRENT UPDATESMicrosoft CEO Satya Nadella has sent a massive manifesto to his

employees that how they are really going to change Microsoft’s culture:

Nadella explained, "We need places where we innovate and we need renewal is in the core. When I think of our challenge today ... the core priority is renewal of mainstream work [processes]. Let's take what we are good at and rethink it. That's not a side project. That is the very company itself."

CONCLUSION In this case we have seen that Bill Gates always wanted to be ahead of everyone

But now its position is at stake, so there is a need for a change in culture of Microsoft

Microsoft market is changing now

To stay on top , it must retool-redirect the combative , in-your-face culture
