In the name of the Father...

Mother Teresa said God speaks in the silence ofthe heart, so we take a moment now to be silent

as we begin to pray. (Sit quietly for a momentor two and just focus on your breath)

One night a house caught fire and a young boywas sitting on a window ledge. His father stood

on the ground below with his armsoutstretched, calling to his son. "Jump! I'll catchyou!" he shouted, but the boy was frozen withfear. He called to him again "Jump Danny!" Butall little Danny could see was smoke and flames

and he stayed rooted to the window lwedge."Why won't you jump Danny?" his father

pleaded with him. "Because I can't see youDaddy!" his son said. At which point his fatherreassuringly replied, "But I can see you Danny

and that's the most important thing".

It's easy to have trust when things are goingwell but when things are difficult it becomes amuch harder task. Yet this is what faith is, it isbelieving that God has a plan and that we will

always be protected and looked after. We praytoday for the courage to trust. We pray that the

efforts and hard work of all students will berecognised and rewarded. We pray for our

teachers, that they will be fair and conscientiousin their assessments and that they will receive

the support they need.

God grant us the serenity to accept the thingswe cannot change, the courage to change thethings we can, and the wisdom to know the

difference.

Our prayer has ended; In the name of the Father..

Police Officer Friendly's informer Slippery Sid, isnone too helpful when it comes to pointing out

which of various colorful characters keeps theircar behind which coloured garage door. The

only thing we do know is that no garage doorhas ither a door, car, or an owner's name with

the same colour in it. From Sid's statement see ifyou can fill in the form correctly!

Mr Brown's car, which is next to both the BMWand the black one, is not the Fiat, which is next

to both the brown car and Mr Whites's. TheVolve is two places to the right of the grey car

and the Audi which is not Mr White's is twoplaces to the left of Mr Grey's car. There are

also both a red and green car, Mr Black and MrGreen are the other two oweners and the final

make of car is a Ford.
