PASTOR’S MESSAGE

Great Things

Great things don’t happen bymere accident. Egypt, ancientRome, the nations of Europeand the United States are the

result of many struggles, battlesand the labors of millions ofpeople resembling the great

waves that ride up in the sea.Their greatness is only for a time

in a long path to history.Sometimes people make a lot of

money or get a lot of fame;sometimes they lose what they

have gained rather quickly. KingSolomon wrote about this in theBible, “All is vanity and vanity is

vanity and passes after thewind.” But some things do not

pass away. One, what Jesus didon the cross. Two, our salvation.

Three, eternal life. Four, thosewe love. Five, love, hope andfaith. Six, the joy of being a

Christian. Seven, the good we doin life.

Rev. Roger Plessen
