Mermaids…
Imagine… What will be hidden in the sea…
“Mermaid”
• A mermaid is a legendary aquatic creature with
the upper body of a female human.
• The word mermaid is derived from the OLD
ENGLISH i.e., mere (sea), and maid (a girl or
young woman with the tail of a fish).
What are
they?
• Traditional Mermaids: Can live only in sea.
• Skin sheading mermaids: Can walk on land
for short periods of time.
• Shape Shifting Mermaids: Can change to
the human form at their wish.
• Merfolk Mermaids: Can live on both land and
sea.

Dead Bodies Found
Organs of Mermaids
• Amazingly, the body parts of mermaids are very similar to that of Human Beings with an exception that they has tail instead of legs.
• Besides, the tail part is exactly similar to that of Dolphins.
• Mermaids live along with the families
of Dolphins.
• They hunt the other fishes along with
the Dolphins.
• Fascinatingly, They both are
Mammals.
Mermaids and Dolphins
• Individual dolphins communicate using a variety of clicks, whistle-like sounds and other vocalizations same as Humans.
• Surprisingly, dolphins live in groups that they consider their family.
• When humans give birth to a child, it takes 9 months. When dolphins give birth to a child, it takes 12 months. Just like a human does, a dolphin breeds to its own child.
Humans vs. Dolphins
• The brain of a dolphin and the brain of a
human are very much alike. It is said to be
that dolphins are the only mammal to
have almost the same brain as us humans
do.
• A dolphins emotions can affect their
lifestyle just like it can with us.
• Obviously, dolphins and humans are both
considered mammals.
_______
• Whales and other marine mammals are much more dependent on sound for communication.
• The U.S. Navy recorded some Blooping Sounds in the deeper seas that never had been identified.
• It raised several questions in the minds of scientists.
