Looking back, consumers are seen wear-ing prints, oversized garments, assy-metrical garments, and sheer garments. The most popular print being polka dots, but consumers are now in search of new prints that can be worn everyday. Oversized pieces are used for layering or worn with a fitted garment. Assymetrical garments are popular with different types of textures and fabrics. Sheer garments have become increasingly popular to reveal undergarments and holds a sense of seduction.
INTREPID PRINTS
Intrepid prints means bold prints. This concept is inspired by saturated colors and beautiful silhouettes. This spring/summer season will bring a flood of prints to the runway and on the streets, brightening monochromatic garments. Bold prints bring confidence and a sense of livliness. This also gives consumers a way to be expressive and adventurous.
Current habits and behaviors are consumers are looking for refreshing new prints and a way to dress boldly. Consumers are moving from monochromatic tones and turning to expressive prints.

CUT IT OUT
Cut-outs means new shapes and patterns. This is a refreshing approach to how garments show their versatility. The func-tions of cut-out garments are layering and breathability. Cut-outs will be functional for both the spring/summer and fall/winter seasons. In the spring/summer season, cut-outs will allow air flow in the garment to keep the body cool. Whereas in the fall/winter season, cut-outs will be used as layering pieces that will still allow air flow, but also keep the body from uncomfortable body temperatures.
Current habits and behaviors is consumers are looking for simple garments with elegant details and designs. Consumers are looking for versatility and functionality of a garment instead of a one-time wear.
