Aims
The major aim of the project is to restructure, revise and update teaching at Medical faculty in Podgorica.
The completely revised curricula, as the principal project objective, will be ECTS based.
Wider Objective:
To contribute to the reorganization of medical education in Montenegro, bring it in line with the current, modern European trends

DISSEMINATIONThe reformed core curriculum has been adopted at the meeting of the Council of the School of Medicine, Senate of the University of Montenegro, the Board of Directors of the University and Council for Higher Education, a body of the Montenegrin government
Project coordinator, Prof Bogdan Asanin,M.D. had visited several school of medicine in the neighbouring countries and, in the meetings he had with the leading bodies of those medical schools, stressed the importance of the Tempus project, especially in the areas of acquisition of e-learning equipment, student mobility and professor mobility to the School of Medicine in Udine.
DISSEMINATION 1. School of Medicine in Belgrade (Serbia), on
6 and 7 December 2007, where he participated in the round table discussion and had an opportunity to share experience of the implementation of the Bologna process at the School of Medicine in Podgorica
2. School of Medicine in Skoplje (Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia) on 2 and 3 November 2007
3. School of Medicine in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) on 16 November 2007
DISSEMINATIONThe project coordinator participated in the “Teaching Medicine”, the Serbia Tempus meeting, which was held in Belgrade on 28 and 29 May 2007, with a paper entitled “Reform of curriculum content to undergraduate medical education at the University of Montenegro”. He also participated in the panel discussion entitled “Implementation of the new curriculumThe project coordinator, prof. dr Bogdan Asanin participated in the international conference EC Tempus – CARDS-SCM International Relation Policy for Regional Integration Promotion – INTERPOL, held in Budva on 24 September 2007.
