GAME NOTES

HEADLINES

The Jets travel to Foxborough to face NE, their first AFC East matchup of 2014, and the first of six division games over the sea-son's final 11 weeks. Since the divisions realigned in 2002, the Jets have never faced their first AFC East opponent for the first time after Week Five, nor played all six games in fewer than 12 weeks. The Jets have typically played their first division game in Week One (four times) or Two (six times).

After logging 2.0 sacks against Peyton Manning last week, the Jets are tied for second in the league with 19 sacks on the season. Since the start of the 2013 season, their 60 sacks are the fifth-highest total, led by DL Muhammad Wilkerson's 14.5 sacks, tied for 10th in the NFL.

Rookie TE Jace Amaro registered 10 catches for 68 yards and a touchdown in Week Six vs. DEN, the first Jets TE to record 10+ catches in a game since Johnny Mitchell logged 11 at MIN (11/20/94). This season, Amaro leads all rookie TEs in both recep-tions (24) and receiving yards (212).
