Dear Potential Sponsor / Exhibitor:

We are very excited to be announcing The 2014 Maryland SHRM

State Conference, which is an ideal marketing opportunity to reach

many of the Mid-Atlantic Region’s human resource professionals.

This year’s conference theme is HR: LEADING THE WAVE OF

CHANGE. We want to thank all of our past and future sponsors for

your continued support, which allows us to deliver highly successful

and innovative programming at the Maryland SHRM State

Conference.

The 2014 conference will be held at the Roland E. Powell

Convention Center in Ocean City, Maryland. The host hotel (where

the opening night reception and conference kick-off will occur) is

the Princess Royal on 91st Street in Ocean City. The conference

will be October 5 – 7, 2014 and we are expecting more than 350

participants. The conference – and the exceptional venues – is a

great value to human resource professionals from Maryland and

beyond!

We invite your organization to join us as a Sponsor and/or Exhibitor

of this event. The Sponsorship opportunities available this year

provide a wide range of access to the region’s top HR

professionals. As a “PARTNER,” your donation and support of this

event will allow us to provide the quality programs to attendees.

There are four (4) distinct levels of sponsorship. Each level has

been carefully considered to meet the budgetary constraints of the

diverse partners we serve. Sponsorships are offered on a first -

come, first-serve basis. We also welcome donations other than

financial such as a gift of your service or product to award as a door

prize to our attendees.

Details regarding the 2014 Maryland SHRM State Conference are

attached. Don’t miss your opportunity to build name recognition,

establish future customers, meet face-to-face with key decision

makers, network with hundreds of HR professionals, reach your

target audience, and strengthen relationships with current

customers.

We look forward to your participation in the 2014 MD SHRM State

Conference. For additional information, please visit our conference

website at http://md.shrm.org.

Sincerely,

Jeanne P. Sherwood Brian Sands

copy for everyone."

ANNE BARROW, SR. DIR. OF HR

SPRINT

“In my career, I have read numerous business books and

listened to dozens of speakers. Steve Gilliland is without

question in a league of his own.”

ANDY TURNER, PRESIDENT

BANK OF AMERICA

“With sass and a keen eye, media

favorite Janine Driver invites you

to learn the skills she used every

day to stay alive during her fifteen

years as a body-language expert

at the ATF. Janine’s 7-day plan

and her 7-second solutions teach

you dozens of body language

fixes to turn any interpersonal situation to your advantage.

She reveals methods here that other experts refuse to share

with the public, and she debunks major myths other experts

swear are fact: It lets you know how you can tell if people

are lying. It's funny, and I like the way it is crafted.”

DR. MEHMET OZ

HOST OF THE DR. OZ SHOW

OPENING KEYNOTE

Steve Gilliland, Enjoy the Ride

Steve built a multimillion-dollar company from the ground

up on the same philosophy he expounds to his

audiences. If you continually learn more about your

company, your industry, your customer and yourself, you

will always be a leader. You will be purpose-driven rather

than process-driven, and you will make a difference.

MONDAY AFTERNOON KEYNOTE

two years as a senior mentor with both the Marine Corps

and Joint Forces Command. He currently sits on a

number of boards and is honored to hold the Leadership

Chair in the Vice Admiral James Stockdale Ethical

Leadership Center at the US Naval Academy.
