Hello Seals!
This was such an amazing month full of service and spirit for us! We raised
$700 for Nepal during our DCM/Movie Fundraiser! (Thank you to Arcadia and
Sierra Vista for the generous donations) ! Since summer is coming up we can
all look forward to Region Picnic and Region Beach Clean-Up! I hope all of
you were able to survive AP testing. For the next few days from May 22nd-
24th. I will not be in town. I will be at SBTC, this Is a training conference for all
district board members. I will be learning new skills so that I can better serve
you all! Since I will be busy training the entire weekend if you have any ques-
tions please contact the executive assistant Betty Hang! It
has been my hon- or serving you all for these past
few months. Every time I am able to attend an
event I look for- ward to seeing all of you help
build your home, school, and community. I can’t
wait to see you all soon!

A great deal of newborns are born prematurely, and many die soon after
birth, or undergo long treatments in the NICU. March For Babies raises money to sup-
port mothers and give them healthy, full-term pregnancies, as well as funding further
research as to what causes the problems that affect our babies. Our Key Club divi-
sion served by cheering on walkers as they crossed the finish line of the march and
gave them stickers (a lot of stickers). What really stood out to me was the over-
whelmingly positive attitudes of the people we were supporting. These individuals
seemed truly genuine about what they were doing and it gave me a sense of what
this is all about: saving lives. And the spirit and motivation of my fellow seals (and el-
ephants) depicted the dedication that our club brings to these events, that we are
truly passionate about our service to causes like this. Because at the end of the day,
how did we feel? We felt good. -Cameron Joh, Glen A. Wilson

I really enjoyed talking to everyone and hearing all the upcoming events! I
find myself looking forward to those events! I’m glad this fundraiser and many others
have raised money for the earthquake in Nepal. The fundraisers had sure appealed
to me. It was a good idea to sell food. My personal favorite would be Krispy Kreme
doughnuts and lemonade.

Hello ya’ cute Seals!
I hope you guys have been getting 5’s on AP tests! As the terms progresses, I
have grown more in love in what I do, the community, and service. The impact of
our actions determines our future. I see our future in good hands, our hands. It
warms my heart to see beautiful people coming to events with their beautiful
smiles. I would like to give two thumbs up to the clubs who have turned in their ar-
ticles and visuals on time! Yay! I’m very happy to see the hard work accumulated
and presented through the submissions. Keep up the good work! As the school
year comes to an end, here’s some encouragement. You’re almost there! Finish
strong!
