    Connector or online - Its coming up on July 26-30 (Evening Family) and July 27-30 (Morning) Volunteers needed! Sign up to help shepherd a group or lead the activities so we can make this week one to remember!

    Nametags - We would like to give a warm welcome to Rev. Kendall Waller when he joins us on June 28 by wearing our nametags. Please mark the tearoff if you need to order a new one. Nametags are $5 each.

    Coming Up June 3: UMW General Meeting & Potluck - The UMW

    General June meeting and potluck will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, in the Multipurpose Room. A brief business meeting will be followed by the always beautiful and deliciously pleasing spring potluck. All members of UMW are invited to join us.

    June 6: Attic Treasures - Save the date...and save your treasures for the annual Attic Treasures Rummage Sale at MUMC on June 6. Drop off your donations for the sale June 1-5 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

    June 7: Kids are Moving On Up! School will soon be out and its time to move our Sunday School students up to the next level! Beginning June 7 children should move to the age/grade they will attend in the Fall. For many this does not mean a change in rooms, but for those who will move to a new space, their Sunday School leaders will be taking them to their new room at the end of Sunday School on May 31. If you have any questions, please contact Nancy Cooper at [email protected] or 443-3111.

    June 9: Social Justice Book Club Meetings will be held quarterly beginning on Tuesday, June 9 at 7 p.m. in the MUMC Parlor with our first book discussion of The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander, available through the church office.     June 14: Summer Choir....Youre Invited! Do you like to sing? This is a great time to be a part of the choir for its summer session! The schedule is simpler during the summer as there are no Wednesday night rehearsals. Agape Singers and Chancel Choir rehearsals are held on Sunday mornings before worship; Agape Singers at 8:15 a.m., and Chancel Choir at 10:15 a.m. Our summer schedule begins June 14.

    Today in the ConnectorGraduate Recognition: Have some cupcakes and punch in the Connector during the 10 a.m. hour as we celebrate and pray for those graduating high school, college or a graduate program.

    Surplus Book Sale: As a result of some spring cleaning, we have a surplus of books from our Adult Education closet for sale. These are books that are good for individual study and growth as well as small groups. All proceeds from the sale will help purchase new curriculum and offer need-based scholarships for curriculum.
