FBLA Competes at State Conference
The FBLA club competed at the State Conference on April 20th-22nd. The conference took place at the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville, KY.
Twenty-nine students participated at the Conference, with four students qualifying for the National Conference in Chicago, IL on June 29th - July 2nd.
Justus Warner, Michael Bussell & Merrill Hudson—3rd place in Website Design Wilson Switzer—2nd place Word Processing
The club's Community Service Project also received 4th place honors, however only the top three qualify for Nationals.
After some research, we believe this is the first time in 14 years since a student from Nicholas County has qualified on an aca-demic basis to compete at the national level.
This is a huge honor for not only the participants, but for the FBLA club and NCMHS. We wish Justus, Michael, Merrill and Wilson safe travels and the best of luck!
