Happy Mothers DaY TO ALL OF OUR MOTHERS
EVERYDAY SHOULD BE M OTHERS DAY !However, this is the day set aside to HONOR mothers everywhere. It is ourprivilege to recognize the place that a Mothers influence has on the lives of theirchildren. Thank God for Godly Mothers. The old adage, the hand that rocksthe cradle is the hand that builds the character of the generation that will one daybe the leaders of the country, is still true today. We hope that you are in contactwith all of your children and family and that all is well with you and for you. It isChristian mothers that are the heart and soul of our young people today (sorry dad,but you know that it is true). Who do they come to when they are little, and scrapetheir knee or hurt themselves in some other way? It is mom that gives them
comfort and kisses away the hurt and makes it all better. Or whom do they cometo when they are teens for consultation and advice? It is YOU, Mom. Again, Ithank God for you, and hope and pray that you will continue to be there for themwhen they need you!
Then, I truly hope you are there for them when they realize that they need a Saviorand that you have the opportunity to lead them to a saving knowledge of JesusChrist and to make Him their Lord and Savior. Mom,be there, for them beforethe world and the cults of this world turn their head and heart away from theChristian influence that you have provided for them through the years and,
perhaps, turn them from ever becoming a Christian and loving God like you do!
TO THE MOTHERS THAT READ THIS NEWSLETTER
Please keep up the good work. You may never know how yourefforts of raising a Godly family w ill effect the world.Thank God for You.

OldRockingChairSitting alone in an old
Rocking ChairI saw an old mother with silvery hair;
She seemed so neglected by those who
Should care;
Rocking alone in an old rocking chair.
Bless her old heart, do you think
She would complain;
Though life has been bitter,
She would live it again;
And carry the crossThat is more than her share;
Rocking alone in an old rocking chair.
Her hands were calloused,Wrinkled and old.
A life of hard work
Was the story they told;
Now she is awaiting
Her promised reward;
Sitting alone in an old rocking chair.
I know some kids, in an orphans homeWho would think they owned heaven,
If she were their own;They would never be willing
To let her sit there;
Rocking alone in an old rocking chair.
When I read this poem I could vision a mother outthere somewhere, that had led a productive life forthe Lord and now she is in her twilight years andall alone. I wonder how many of you reading thisright now have a mother somewhere that you havenot seen or had any communication with for along while. If I know the heart of a mother she is
patiently waiting for you to get in touch with hersome way or another. Perhaps all she has ismemories of days gone by or maybe a photo thatshe looks at from time to time to remember.
If it is at all possible try to contact your motherthis Mothers Day. Let her know that you loveher and miss her. This is one way to honor her as
the Bible tells us we should. Honor your fatherand mother.

Mothers Day
Is Every Day
Every day should be
Mothers day!
She is special, in every way.
Remembering when
She helped me pray,
By my bed, and what to say
We talked to God
Yes, this was my dear mother.
Every day she was there for me,
Are you hurt? O let me see!
Always busy as a bee,
Living and loving for her family.
And on she would plod
Yes, this was my dear mother.
Some of the days as years went by,
My goals (sometimes) made her sigh,
Though, she did help me make the try
She was there, and ever nigh
Some time used the rod,
Yes, she was my dear mother!
Every child needs mothers like her!
Always there fr us and father,
Filling the family with much cheer,
Our siblings knew she was near
She walked with God,
Yes, she was my dear mother!Written by E.J. Best

NewLifeProgram Notes
Built for RelationshipOne of our major goals, in working with ourmen, is to help them begin to understand andlive according to the way we were designed.Its pretty obvious that if I were to put waterin my gas tank, my car would stop runningwell. Yet, there are many who are trying to
run their lives on water when they need torun on gas. There are many ways that ourmen are confused as to what they need to runwell. One of the surest ways to stop runningwell is to withdraw into isolation whenrelationships become hard.
The tendency to isolate is epidemicamong the men we are helping. Due to thedifficulty of handling disappointment that isso common to all relationships, our menmostly end up alone. They lack the skills
and understanding needed to press on, sothey walk out.
Scripture is clear; we are built for
relationship. Even a casual glance at GodsWord reveals we were not meant to be alone.The nature of the Church as one body, themany one another passages, even theWisdom Literature of the Old Testament(Ecclesiastes 4:9-12) all point to our need forother persons to partner with us in godlyliving.
Given the tendency to isolate and the needfor relationship, we ask every man coming toNewLife to a find Spiritual Mentor. Thisrelationship is vital to the success of eachman. Our aim is that these mentoringrelationships will continue to grow andbecome life-long disciple-makingrelationships.
Currently we are struggling to find men whoare spiritually mature and willing to committo such a relationship. The cost is great: aminimum of one hour each week is expectedof the mentor. The reward is out of thisworld!
If you are looking for a man to pour yourChristian life into, give me a call.
Serving Him with your help,
Pastor Aaron
We Desperately Need Your
HELP!We are so thankful to those of you that
continually support this ministry.However, as you may or may not know
donations are down to all agencies that
are dependant on donations from
individuals for their survival. This is also
true with us. We are in need of laundry
detergent, toilet tissue, paper towels,
coffee. If we have to buy these items
it takes from the funds we have
allocated for food. PLEASE help if you
can. ThanksBro. Don
