Group Activity

1. Each group will receive a card and a sheet of drawing paper.

2. Read the idiom printed in front and brainstorm a literal understanding of it.

3. Fold the drawing paper in half and draw your literal understanding on the first half.

4. Flip the card to read the definition of the idiom and a sample sentence.

5. Draw a figurative understanding on the remaining half of the drawing paper.
