Master’s Programme in Global Politics and Communication

Equivalence tables for students, who started their studies in the GPC programme before 1.8.2020 and complete their studies according to the old curriculum 2017-2020. During the transition period (3 years) teaching will be arranged according to the new curriculum 2020-2023, even if the students complete their degrees according to the 2017-2020 curriculum. Below you can find tables for each study track indicating equivalencies between studies in the old

curriculum (2017-2020) and the new curriculum (2020-2023). The possibility to follow the structure of the

old curriculum (2017-2020) ends on 31 July 2023.

courses GPC-E311 and GPC-E512 by 31.7.2020, are strongly recommended to move to the new

curriculum 2020-2023 and complete their studies according to the new degree structure.

GPE track students, who have started their studies before 1.8.2020 and have not completed the two

GPE courses GPC-E311 and GPC-E512 by 31.7.2020, and who want to complete their studies according

to the old curriculum 2017-2020, need to consult the responsible teacher for the courses for additional

assignments (e.g. additional exam or essay) in order to complete the courses as 10 cr instead of 5 cr.
