Stay within the rules but just! Never let a good crisis go to waste. Use them as the basis for innovation and change. The future is not a straight line from the past so bend the line often. Make your expectations clear and then empower and engage and let the team do the work. Think not distributed leadership, but renaissance leadership everywhere students, teachers, administration. If in doubt, trust your instincts the brain can often get in the way. Less is more.
