From the Pastor…

Dear Parishioners, let me update you on changes we have made in the last months:

During the months of February, March and April the Church and School have undergone a Diocesan Audit.

On March 5th our accountant Mrs. Stephanie Burgess took over as an in-terim Business Manager.

On March 7th we held a Finance Board Meeting

On March 20th we held a Finance Board Meeting with Diocesan Officers to discuss the Audit. Also, I present a new member to the Finance Board, Mr. Carlos Salazar

On April 10th we held a Finance Board Meeting with Diocesan Officers to dis-cuss the results and recommendations of the Audit. We approved to have Mr. Jim Farrell as new accountant in place of Mrs. Stephanie Burgess.

On April 24th we held a Finance Board Meeting. I present a new member to the Finance Board, Mr. Marti Norris. Also, we decided that Stephanie should stay as the Business Manager.

I will be updating you more in these coming weeks!

envelopes will be placed on the altar on Father’s Day and will remain there for

the rest of the week to honor our Fathers.

Exterior freedom, guaranteed by just civil laws, is important and necessary. Gal 5:16) and are guided by an upright moral con-science, capable of choosing what is truly good. "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom" (2 Cor 3:17). This, dear young people, is the only path to take if humankind is to become mature and worthy of its name. See, then, how great and challenging is the heritage of the sons and daughters of God, to which you are called. Receive it with gratitude and responsibility. Do not waste it! Have the courage, every day, to live by it consistently and to an-nounce it to others. In this way, the world will become, more and more, the great family of the sons and daughters of God. Queridos Parroquianos, déjeme actualizarlos sobre algunos cambios que han estado pasando en estos meses:

Durante los meses de Febrero, Marzo y Abril nuestra Iglesia y Escuela tuvieron una Auditoria de la Diócesis.

El 5 de Marzo nuestra Contadora Mrs. Stephanie Burgess tomo el lugar del Gerente de Negocios temporalmente.

El 7 de Marzo tuvimos reunión del Consejo de Finanzas

El 20 de Marzo tuvimos reunión de Consejo de Finanzas junto con oficia-les de la Diócesis para tratar sobre la Auditoria. También presentamos al nuevo miembro del Consejo de Finanzas Mr. Carlos Salazar.

El 10 de Abril tuvimos reunión de Consejo de Finanzas junto con oficiales de la Diócesis para tratar de los resultados y recomendaciones de la Audito-ria. También aprobamos contratar a Mr. Jim Farrell como nuevo Con-tador en lugar de Mrs. Stephanie Burgess.

El 24 de Abril tuvimos reunión de Consejo de Finanzas. Presente al nue-vo miembro del Consejo de Finanzas Mr. Marti Norris. También, decidimos que Mrs. Stephanie quede como Gerente de Negocios.

Los estaré actualizando mas en estas semanas!
