Charitable Contributions by the region, states and chapters of $320,167 including March for Babies-$167,452; Breast Cancer-$43,188; NEF-$5425; Miscellaneous including Flint Water, NAACP, various Walks, Veterans, St. Jude and Elder Care - $104,602. Additionally, over $124,854 was donated to the Capital Campaign.

DELAWARE

First state-wide retreat held on August 15, 2015, which featured a workshop on “The Six Secrets to Celebrate Sisterhood” led by Dr. Doris Griffin and painting with artist Dr. Eboni Bell (I Dream in Color).

Epsilon Rho Zeta, Delaware’s oldest chapter, celebrated its 60th anniversary with a Black and White Gala on September 12, 2015

Adoption of Choptank Elementary School at the 2014 Leadership Conference and conducted state Z-HOPE Initiative donating level-text libraries for each classroom shipping a total of 13 libraries containing over 1000 books valued over $10,000.

Awarded scholarships in the total amount of $17,500 since 2014 Hosted The Because We Care Forum in conjunction with The Black Women’s Agenda and AARP on Elder Care. Received a resolution from Councilman Nick J. Mosby, 7th District in recognition of partnership with the

NEW JERSEY

Service: January 2015 conducted a Winter Accessories Drive with 650 items donated; in April 2015 our Elder Care initiative donated 992 pairs of socks and 7 lap blankets to a Senior Center; in April 2016 the Elder Care “Say Cheese” initiative donated 3530 items

Scholarship: $2,956 donated to Shiloh Baptist Church Scholarship Fund (Founders’ Day 2015); $2,515 donated to Franklin-St. John UME Scholarship Fund (Founders’ Day 2016); $7000 – State General Scholarship Awards; and $2400 – Life Members Award

Training: presented the State Webinar Series and held a Day of Training with 10 workshops Growth: First four letter chapter chartered in 6 ½ weeks (interest meeting 6/4; charter granted July 21) Centennial: Centennial Initiative established. A minimum of $15,000 to be donated on behalf of the State

NEW YORK

Entered a partnership with NYC Health & Hospitals Corporation that will allow NYS to operate a Stork's Nest in 97 different hospitals and community health/child health clinics throughout New York City.

Zeta Phi Beta - NYS became an official nonprofit service vendor for the State of New York. Increased membership by 16% since 2014. Chartered two new graduate chapters: Alpha Alpha Upsilon Zeta and Alpha Alpha Omega Zeta since 2014. The State and its chapters have made over $100,000 in charitable contributions since 2014.

PENNSYLVANIA

Induction of 62 new undergraduates within eight months Reactivated four undergraduate chapters (one chapter was inactive for 25 years); and two graduate chapters

(one inactive for 15 years) Lead on the Arizona Cleaver Memorial Monument Project 78 undergraduates in attendance at 2016 State Leadership $3500 awarded through the Barbara Bradley Younge and Arizona Cleaver Stemons scholarships

TRI-STATE (Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island) Expansion through chartering chapters—two graduate and one undergraduate—one a year since 2014 Reactivated Kappa Omicron Chapter at Bryant University Held first Zeta Day at the Connecticut State Capitol in 2014

Held the first joint Undergraduate Zeta/Sigma Retreat in 2015 January 14, 2014 the FIRST joint Tri-State Founders’ Day with representation from all three states. This

celebration has continued annually since that time. INTERNATIONALLY

Germany – Participation in monthly Z-HOPE activities ranging from donations to physical presence. Participation in Teen Summit Overnight Lock-In on Ramsten Air Force Base on the topics of College Prep, Etiquette, Attire and Tattoos and Piercings.

Membership has doubled in the past sorority year England – Presented the Breast Cancer Awareness Ball in 2016 Military Appreciation Awards 2015 – honoring service members for their service to our country Belgium – Chartered the first international Amicae Auxiliary in Zeta’s history Awarded four $1000 scholarships and two $100 essay contest prizes in the first two years of existence.
