On June 2, 1944, Martha married George E. Hatch, in Galesburg, IL. He preceded her in death in 1993. She was previously employed at Royal Neighbors of America and remained until her retirement. She attended First United Methodist Church, Geneseo. She was a member of Valley Chapter 274 of the Eastern Star, Rock Island County Genealogical Society, United Methodist Women, Circle of Friends, Royal Neighbors Social Club, and Royal Neighbors Retirees.
