Lim Ching Bee began to trade in abaca fiber and copra right in the heart of Bicolandia Tabaco, Albay.

From a small-scale single proprietorship in the late 1940s, the Company was registered as a stock corporation in 1960 when Mr. Lim was joined by several colleagues and business partners.

In the 1970s, Ching Bee began exporting abaca fiber and copra to many countries all over the world, including Japan and the United States.

Ching Bee has secured its place as the biggest abaca trader in the world and foremost leader in the Philippine abaca industry.
