Finding truth(s) in these uncertain times.COVID-19 Outbreak marks the very start of 2020 in China, and now it has grown to a major international concern. Our partners in China set out to explore the profound changes that are happening, and through which, created a framework to help guide our partners in understanding their own situations and take future actions. The 5Cs is a process of identifi-cation and discovery, that helps uncover the most meaningful insights across a variety of sources and areas. Some of you are aware of this process, the 5C’s helps us find simplicity in an ever changing environment and provides clarity on the challenges and opportunity we face moving forward. Through the 5C’s many interesting findings were uncovered. Culturally

we have seen once again the power of ‘Unity’ – yet not through Propaganda, but a sense of social responsibility, of hidden heroism, as fellow citizens, to fight the disease together.In terms of consumption, people are seeking reassurance. Many plan to revert to an ‘essentialist’ approach of spending – trust and value are becoming the most appreciated elements. In addition, people are starting to realise the importance of mental and spiritual health.Also, examined were brands doing well in this difficult time, ones who use digital to balance out effects and empower operations. However, digital world could be highly clut-tered and noised. Brands must be careful to convey the right message, and clearly.
