SML Idol is a fundraising event benefiting 6 local charities. Our fifth weeks charity is CASA and on our 6th week well be honoring our Veterans and benefiting Disabled American Veterans. Mariners Landing Travel Club (established by your neighbors for our community -- a truly wonderful time for neighbors & guests): Come join us for our inaugural trip to the beautiful Bilt- more Estate and Ashville, NC, October 16th-19th. The cost is $469.00 per person and includes motor coach transportation, 3 nights of lodging, 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners, a full day visit to the Biltmore Estate, guided tour of Asheville and a guided drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Well have a “SPOOKY” golf cart parade beginning at the Cabana pool parking lot at 4:30pm. Then well travel to Mariners Village beach and boat dock area for hot dogs and smores over a roaring fire! The cost is $3 per person (EXACT CASH ONLY PLEASE). Entertainment provided by Ed McNamara and Don Larson. Also, The Star City Ukulele Circle will lead us in a Beatles Sing-A-Long. Please bring: A dish to share, a roasting stick, your own beverage, a chair, a flashlight or lantern and a neighbor. Well provide the hot dogs, fixins, smores and paper goods. Long-Term Renters (over 30 days) Requirements: Property Owners are reminded that the 3rd Amendment to the Mariners Landing Master Covenants states that Owners:

1. Are requested to perform a criminal background check before Tenant is granted occupancy. 2. Will make Tenant aware of obligation to abide by Covenants and Additional Rules and Reg-

ulations before Tenant is granted occupancy. 3. Will provide Tenant’s contact information to its community property owners’ associa-

tion and Mariners Landing Master Association at the time of occupancy. Owner will be subject to fines and civil actions (as allowed by VA Code section 55-513) for viola-tions by the Tenant and/or Owner. Neighborhood Watch: Please notify CALM (540-297-9393 or [email protected]) whenever

the occupancy status of your residence changes so the staff making rounds can be aware.
