Offshore

In the Offshore business segmentTechnip performs engineering,procurement, construction,installation, commissioning and therefurbishment/upgrading of offshorefacilities for the oil and gas industry.

Technip provides these services forfixed platforms in shallow water withconventional sub-structures andself-installing platforms such as theTPG 500 and for deepwater facilitiesincluding Spar, semi-submersible, TLP,FPSO and FLNG units. Technip is aworld leader in floatover installationof topsides and its R&D effort isfocused technology transfer for localcontent and new frontier areas suchas ultra-deepwater and the Arctic.

Onshore

Technip covers the full range ofonshore facilities for the oil and gaschain, petrochemicals and otherenergy industries (nuclear, renewablesincluding biofuels and offshore wind).It holds many proprietary cutting-edge technologies and is the leader inthe design and construction of LNGand gas treatment plants as well asethylene, hydrogen and syngas units.

Technip is also one of the key actorsin refining and petrochemical units,and has developed a leadershipposition in the fertilizer industry.Moreover, the Group is very active innon-energy activities such as miningand metals, life sciences, buildings andinfrastructures.

Subsea

In subsea hydrocarbon development,Technip’s activities include the design,manufacture and installation of rigid andflexible subsea pipelines and umbilicals.Thanks to its portfolio of technologiesand industrial and operational assets,Technip offers a unique verticallyintegrated model in the industry.

The Group has 3 flexible pipemanufacturing plants, 4 umbilicalproduction units, 9 logistics and pipelineassembly bases, and 1 construction yard.Technip’s worldwide leadership issupported by a modern fleet of vesselsfor subsea construction, pipelaydevelopment (rigid and flexible pipesusing S-Lay, J-Lay or Reeled technology)and heavy lift applications.
