Show your K by wearing any KIWIN’S/Key Club attire
(shirts, sweater, etc.) or any KIWIN’S/ Key Club
accessories (bracelets, pins, stickers, etc.). Face
painting will be held Monday morning during planning
period at the Bowl Entrance. Express your K’s!
Say “thanks” to the advisors, teachers, the community,
Kiwanians or anyone who have been a huge support to
the K-families, especially to our two greatest advisors:
Debbie Briscoe and Mr. Rasmussen! There will be a
signing for our two greatest supports on Monday!
Every $1.80 can save the life of a mother and her
babies. To help fundraise for this project, Marina KIWIN’S
will be having a coin war with Marina Key Club! Bring
pennies for our bucket, and dollar bills for Key club’s
Bucket.
Invite your friends to Marina KIWIN’S meeting on
November 6th in Room 123 during lunch to explore more
about KIWIN’S and upcoming events! There will be
treats, fun activities, and photo booths. Encourage your
friends to be a part of KIWIN’S!
In preparation to Fall Rally, a.k.a. one of the biggest and
exciting events in the history of KIWIN’S, Marina KIWIN’S
will be having a Fall Rally South social. We will be
making Viking headbands that will be worn on the day
of Fall Rally (11/22/14).

Member of the Month: Jenny Luong
Jenny Luong has been a dedicated member in KIWIN'S
for the whole two years she has been in high school. She
is consistent with attending events and she even gives
up her sleep time for them; such as the Surf City 10K
event which lasted for over 5 hours. She may be on the
shy and quiet side, but she enjoys helping others in any
way possible. Her kindness and willingness to be a part
of something greater than herself encourages others
around her to keep working hard. Congratulations
Jenny and keep up the good work!
Officer of the Month: JULIE QUAN
For the month of October, JULIE
QUAN, the Marina KIWIN’S Spirit
Chair, has earned officer of the
month for her constant energy and
commitment that she puts into the
club. Julie has attended every single
KIWIN’S event in October and on top
of that, she has been vigorously
planning for KIWIN’S week. She is an
attentive listener, is very easy to
communicate with, and she plans
ahead very well; all traits that lead to
an amazing board member!

job Julie!
