We’re excited about our brand
new Church-wide Series which
begins Sunday, September
13th. Resources for the series are
on sale TODAY! One of the most
exciting aspects is that we’ll read
through the Gospels (Matthew,
Mark, Luke & John) over the 40
days of this series. We’ll kick off
LifeGroups (Sun., Sept. 13) with
FREE Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Get
ready for an incredible Fall!
Family Friendly Wednesday
Nights have resumed, including
Family Supper with our brand
new more family friendly sched-
ule!! Family Supper at 5:30 and
Opportunities to Connect &
Grow at 6:15; Celebration Wor-
ship Choir at 7:15; followed by
Impact for College Students @ 8
p.m. Come see what it’s all
about and invite a friend to join
you!
The next phase of our 3Eleven
Ministry will involve taking the Uni-
forms, Shoes and Backpacks to
families’ homes. We need volun-
teers to sign up to be part of this
awesome opportunity to impact
families in a real and tangible way.
You’ll be able to do this on your
own time in conjunction with the
assigned family. Don’t miss the
chance to help build a bridge to a
family & share Christ with them!
Our Current Message Series is
from the Book of Acts entitled
THE ACTS: Leaving Earth.
Calling all students & adults Age
18-26 to come join us on
Wednesday Nights @ 8 p.m. in
the Worship Center as we join
together for a time of Fellowship
Worship, and Bible Study! Be
sure to invite a friend!
There’s still limited space for the
Fall Trip to Haiti on November 8-
14. A deposit and passport is due
immediately. We’re also taking
early deposits and reservations to
be part of our Haiti 2016 Trip,
scheduled for July 17-23, 2016.
Space is limited so sign up today.

Our summer Backyard Bible
Club was a success in our target
neighborhood behind Dirt
Cheap! We’re continuing with
the fall version, B.L.A.S.T.
(Bible Learning and Sharing
Together), which begins Sun-
day, Sept. 13, and runs 9 Sun-
days through Nov. 8. If you’d
like to serve in this ministry, see
Denise Inmon 601.606.7350,
Dana Webb 601.906.7009, or
call the Church Office. Help
make a difference in the lives of
children & families this fall!
Be a Big Brother or Sister to a
PPS student this Fall, either dur-
ing school hours or community
based. Attend a Training right
here @ Petal FBC TODAY, Au-
gust 30 @ 4 p.m. (This training
is not required for those who’ve
already attended!) Don’t miss
this opportunity to make a differ-
ence. Our Goal: 50 adults! Show
up even if you haven’t signed up!
We kick off the month of Sep-
tember with the Margaret Lack-
ey State Missions Offering. This
offering goes to support South-
ern Baptist Convention efforts
right here in Mississippi. These
ministries include Disaster Re-
lief, New Church Starts, Com-
munity Ministries, and most im-
portantly, helping people go on
International Mission Trips.
