PRINCIPAL’S REPORT
Dear Parents Farewell Mr Reedie Friday 8th March the school community had the opportunity to celebrate Mr Reedie’s years as Principal at our school and farewell him through an assembly. His family were able to join him on this special occasion and many fond memories of his time here at Dalmeny were shared through staff and student reflections. The P&C presented Mr Reedie with a Tigers jersey with #1 Principal and he cut a farewell cake with Tigers legend John Skandalis and former student Marco Quintao. The afternoon, whilst very hot, was a fantastic opportunity for our school
community to say thank you and goodbye.
Staffing Changes Following Mr Reedie’s departure from Dalmeny Mrs Kylie Callan has stepped into the role of relieving Deputy Principal in my role. Mrs Katie Roberts who was previously

relocated to the library for their learning

possible. All library borrowing will need to
occur before school.

YLead Student Leadership Conference Miller PS Thursday 14th March
On Thursday 14 March, year 6 leaders and sport captains went to a leadership conference at Mil-ler Public School along with other local schools. We learnt how to be good leaders by partici-pating in many activities to promote communi-cation, acceptance, resilience and making con-nections with others. These activities included unlocking the ten steps to a grid and making a uniform using plastic bags. We used the day to step out of our comfort zone to help us become better leaders.
