YLead Student Leadership Conference Miller PS Thursday 14th March

On Thursday 14 March, year 6 leaders and sport captains went to a leadership conference at Mil-ler Public School along with other local schools. We learnt how to be good leaders by partici-pating in many activities to promote communi-cation, acceptance, resilience and making con-nections with others. These activities included unlocking the ten steps to a grid and making a uniform using plastic bags. We used the day to step out of our comfort zone to help us become better leaders. By Ava T. and Tuli V.
