Footnotes:Andrew Bethea is a third year religion major at Washington Adventist University. He desires to impact lives after graduation by entering the field of clinical pastoral ministry (Chaplaincy). He is the youngest of four siblings and hails from Upper Marl-boro, Maryland.

Audrey Moise is a local emerging soprano whose passion for music started at the tender age of four. One of her alma maters is Washington Adventist University, where she has had the privilege of sharing Christ’s light through music around the world. Her artistic motto is to use her God-given talent to uplift, unite and inspire.

Kay Rosburg and her husband, Jeff Dever, have been running a graphic design studio in Laurel for almost 30 years. She is also involved in Sligo’s book club, greeting and a hospitality team.

Ivybelle Roye loves the Lord and loves people. She serves as an elder, deaconness, welcome team leader and member of the disability action team. She is the smiling face we see in the Sligo Atrium nearly every Sabbath, epitomizing warmth and grace.

Sligo Women’s Ministries Book Club will meet on Wednesday, March 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the Discipleship Room to discuss “Between a Church and a Hard Place” by Andrew Park Avery.

Join us on March 15, immediately after our 11:15 a.m. service to distribute over 1,750 door hangers in our local community. This year we plan to expand our territory, covering wards two, five and six of Takoma Park, reaching more than 6,000 residents.
