Greetings Friends! We hope this finds all of you in good health, desirable calving conditions, and bright mental outlook for a great 2020! We are, once again, very fortunate and humbled to be able to bring to you an offering of Red Angus bulls that we have strived to develop to your expectations. This set of bulls has been extremely exciting to watch be born and develop into the breeding tools that we can confidently offer to our customers as puzzle pieces towards building and maintaining a profitable ranch. We can say, with the utmost confidence, that the markets will be coming back, and when they do, be ready. It is going to get fun! We did something a little different with our bull program this year and that is the fact that we weaned calves last fall lots earlier than in the past. We found ourselves getting short on grass the beginning of August, so we weaned calves August 10th. And then it started to rain… and rain… and then snow… and more rain. The calves handled the change in program well and we are pleased with their development. As always, we stand behind the cattle with integrity. We take pride in the phenotype, genotype, and performance data that our cattle bring us at the scale. We breed to combine the best attributes to make our cattle thrive in our climate, while focusing on the commercial cattle business. There is no other way that a purebred operation could operate without commercial focus and support. This is a teamwork industry, so if there is ever anything that we should improve on or direct our focus towards, let us know. Learning is a never ending thing, and never should it end. GuaranteeAll bulls sold for $3,000 or more will be guaranteed sound breeder. All bulls will be semen tested prior to the sale, but it is highly recommended that you test the bulls before turning them out for the breeding season. If a bull tests as a non-breeder, the seller has 180 days to make an adjustment. If the bull is returned to the seller and declared a sound breeder by a competent veterinarian, he will be returned to the buyer at the buyers’ expense. In case the bull is declared a non-breeder, the bull will be replaced with one of similar quality if possible or the purchase price will be refunded if the bull was returned in the same body condition as on sale day. This breeding guarantee is valid threw Oct. 15, 2020.

Delivery & FeedingAny bull taken home by his new owner will receive $150 CASH!! Free bull delivery for customers with an accumulated purchase price of $5,000 or more on sale day. All other bulls must be picked up at the ranch or trucking fees will apply. Bulls can be returned to L83 and fed at no cost until May 15th. A $10/day feeding charge will take into affect after this date, due to the shortage of feed after last summers dry climate.

Heifer bull for sure. He’s out of a first calver and pulled off a very nice weaning weight with just her milk. We weaned very early and were very happy with the weights of these Evander calves that came off of our females.

Grizz is a bull that we’d be comfortable using on heifers as his BW is good but also knowing that his dam always produces a nice baby that comes easy and grows fast. Keep all of his daughters and build a nice cow herd.
