It would appear as though many today are living by a new code; a new set of rules where basically anything goes and all the old standards have simply been tossed out the proverbial window. Pretty soon if we’re not careful we might find ourselves living in a society where there are no standards at all. It has been said that a standardless society that permits anything, will eventually lose everything. Adventist History Series - Wednesdays, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall A, March 26 - April 30: Does history matter for a movement focused on the Second Coming and the end of time? This series, by Dr. David Trim, Director of Archives, Statistics, and Research at the Seventh-day Adventist Church World Headquarters, will explore Adventist history, with a particular focus on mission. It will show why our history matters - the stories that can inspire; the mistakes that we need to learn from; and the heritage that shaped us and continues to shape our identity in the twenty-first century. You won’t want to miss this!
