MANUAL TO CLICK

A CROSSOVER CABLE

(NORMA T568A and T568B).

Page 2: Manual de cable cruzado

It is a cable that connects all output signals on one connector with input signals in the other connector, vice versa, enabling two electronic devices connected together with a full duplex communication. The term is commonly referred to, the Ethernet crossover cable, but other cables may follow the same principle. It also allows reliable transmission via an Ethernet connection.

¿WHAT IS A CABLECROSS?

Connect two equal devices, such as two computers to each other, for what colors are arranged in such a way that is not necessary the presence of a HUB. Currently most swtches HUBS or crossover cables to connect support each other.

¿WHY IS THAT?

¿WHY USECROSS CABLE?

A hub is useful to connect multiple computers, but the main thing is that it is faster than coaxial cable connection. However, to connect two computers to each other, there is a way to avoid using a hub.Is to use a crossover (sometimes called Cross wire), which has two threads intersect. The recommended standard for this type of cable is TIA / EIA T568A to one end and TIA / EIA T568B for the other.

FIRST STEP:The first thing you should do is set the cable type to be built according to their use; Since there are two kinds of straight or crossover cable. After learning this, do the following:

~ We UTP Crimp and remove the jacket or cover not being greater than 2 CM.

Page 8: Manual de cable cruzado

SEGUANDO STEP:You must start to organize bales according to the type chosen. (According to the respective standard), organizing them carefully, taking into account that are straight and in the correct order according to the relevant standard or norm.

Page 9: Manual de cable cruzado

TERDER STEP:After having the cables in the correct order, proceeded to cut with Crimp so that when you enter the RJ45 (Switch), all align.

Page 10: Manual de cable cruzado

STEP FIVE:By having the cord cut and aligned correctly, we continue to introduce it into the RJ45 (Switch), a process that must be done carefully so that no internal cables clutter.

STEP FIVE:I revised the internal cable ends have all come into the RJ45 connector (Switch), take the cable Crimp and are located in the striking space. So strong is pressed until the Crimp itself indicates that at which the cable is struck.

NOTE:In this way we can see that the cable has been ready UTP. At the other end is the same performing the above steps.

TIP:To test whether the UTP cable has been struck correctly, you use a cable tester.(As seen in the following image).
