Malvern Rock Choir The Malvern Rock Choir is run by singing teacher Helen Jones. Just over the past few years Rock Choir has entered British people’s hearts with its unique mix of en-masse singing, fundraising, television appearances, and emphasis on supporting local communities. Matt Slocombe

Matt and his wife, Annalisa bought the Crown Inn at Woolhope in 2007 and have tried to create the pub that serves the community and brings visitors from afar. They recently won the ‘Best Cider Pub’ in the Great British Pub awards and have also been recognised for their Sunday lunches in the Best British Roast Dinner Awards and was listed this month as one of the top 20 Country Pubs in the U.K.

Our Lizzy -Lizzy Hughes

Lizzy Hughes runs Our Lizzy Cooking. www.ourlizzy.com She teaches vegan cookery days from her purpose built kitchen in Malvern, Worcestershire. Lizzy enjoys using a wide range of locally grown seasonal produce. She loves exploring new ingredients and developing new recipes. She runs specialist courses in tofu, dairy free and gluten free cookery. At the festival she will be “Full of Beans” sharing some ideas using healthy beans and pulses.

Peter Cooks Bread

Peter is an award winning Baker with over 20 years experience in the industry. Over the years he has won numerous awards, including ‘Best Speciality Loaf’ at the Baking Industry Awards in 2013 for his Sourdough Seeded Loaf, and in 2014, Peter Cooks Bread was the overall winner of the World Bread Awards with their Ciabatta.

Malvern St James School

In addition to their timetabled Food and Nutrition lessons, girls from Malvern St James School Girls’

School can take part in a Cooking Club, Master Chef Competition and

also demonstrate their cooking abilities at local shows. Last year a group cooked on stage at the RHS Spring Show and met Mary Berry. We hope you enjoy their demonstration for you today.

Kids! Come and join in the DIY Pizza Party

Matthew Lloyd of the Fabulous Cob Oven Company will have a wood-fired cob oven on site,

and children are invited to make and bake their own pizzas.

Learn about his work with schools, building wood-fired cob ovens, and workshops.

Get creative and learn about Malvern’s colourful history by decorating your own history inspired biscuits. Suitable for adults and children alike this free activity will run throughout the day as a drop in stall for as long as stocks last.
