The importance of a precise fitThe Nobel Biocare components derive strength and high mechanical performance from being designed and devel-oped not as individual products but as parts of a whole system. The interface is designed for a precise fit between abutment, implant and clinical screw.

Precise fit for long-term performanceJoint compression stress (p) depends on a number of variables such as preload (tensile force Fa), cone angle (α) and contact length (l). Small changes in any of these parameters can lead to extreme load and stress conditions, which can cause implants to fracture.

Access from a new angleSolve the esthetic challenges faced when conventional screw-retained solutions are placed in the anterior, and improve occlusal access in the posterior.

The angulated screw channel (ASC) provides the option to place the screw access hole anywhere between 0° to 25° in a 360° radius. This allows you to tilt the screw channel palatally for optimized esthetics and removes the need to use cemented restorations.

With no need for cementation, the mechanically retained adapter is easy-to-handle and time efficient.
