3Press back a 2cm turning at the top of one handle oneach side of the bag. Turn the bag right side out by
pushing it through one of the handles and slowly pullingall the fabric through the gap. Turn the other threehandles right side out, then press the seams.
4Tuck 2cm of the handles with raw ends into theneatened ends. Tack and then machine stitch through
all the layers. Top stitch if desired. Sew a button to theoutside of the bag on the same side as the loop, 12cmdown from the top edge [3]. To complete, fold in eachside, then the handles. Then roll up the length and insertthe button into the loop.

1Go to www.sewmag.co.uk and download the templates.Cut out two main bags and two linings. Make a printed
pocket using the fabric off-cut from between the handles.Cut it down to 15cm long. Press in the curved edges, thenturn under a 1cm then a 3cm turning at the top. Pin it toone lining piece, 5cm down from the top edge and stitch[1]. Fold 10cm of elastic in half and pin to the centre topedge of the other lining piece with raw edges matching.Stitch in place, 3mm from the edge.
2With right sides facing, pin the two main bags togetheraround the side and bottom edges. Machine stitch with
a 6mm seam allowance. Press the seams open. Join the twolinings in the same way. Turn the lining right side out andslip it inside the bag, so right sides are facing. Matching theside seams, pin the two together around each edge of thefour handles [2]. Machine stitch the four seams, 6mmfrom the edge, leaving the short top edges open.
