It is troubling to see how simple and convenient it has become for some to deny the existence of a human life as a solution to problems that can and must be solved for both the mother and her unborn child” (Video Message to the United Nations, September 25, 2020). “It is painful… to note that under the pretext of guaranteeing presumed subjective rights, a growing number of legal systems in our world seem to be moving away from their inalienable duty to protect human life at every one of its phases” (Speech to the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Holy See, Febru-ary 8, 2021). T H F It's Easy to Volunteer! Have you ever wanted to assist at the festival, but you didn't have the time or energy to physically help? Here's a way you can volunteer and help out. In the boxes where the bulletins are, you will ind envelopes. They have the cost of items we rent that are needed for the festival. If you want to "volunteer' to help cover the cost of rented items, simply take an envelope, make your donation and drop it in the collection basket or take to the Recto-ry. If you want to make a general donation rather than donating towards a speci ic item, you are wel-come to do so. Although you won't be able to physically help out, by "volunteering" with a donation envelope, you will be helping out in a big way and help make the festival a success. The Harvest Festival will be on Friday, October 1, & Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 6:00pm - 10:00pm.

Jesus, sabiendo que sus discıpulos criticaban su ensenanza, les pregunto: -¿Les resulta difıcil aceptar esto? ¿Que ocurrirıa si vieran al Hijo del hombre subir adonde estaba antes? El Espıritu es quien da la vida; la carne no sirve para nada. Las palabras que les he dicho son espıritu y vida. Pero algunos de ustedes no creen.
