In an infinite universe anything that can be imagined might somewhere exist… INFINITY After being divided into four groups for one and a half days, for various activities Team DPS was glad to finally get back together for ‘The Infinity’. The instructor asked the students to form two circles inter-joining to form infinity. There were two planks kept in between the two circles. The main aim was to keep moving wisely in such a way that
neither of the hands held had to be left nor the planks touched. With appropriate coordination we finished the task. However, the students couldn’t complete the task in the estimated amount of time. This failure challenged them to repeat the task and break their previous record. As rightly said, “Where there is a will there is a way.“
Magic Bus Centre
For Learning & Development, Karjat.
Education isn’t a preparation for life, it’s life itself. The dogmatic views of education based on grade system are far from helpful and thus we understand the importance of holistic development. The team from magic bus made us realize the importance of experiential education. Mr. Nachiket Joshi, the experiential educator at magic bus believes that learning can be accomplished through 3 significant milestones: leadership, goal setting and
Experiential Learning - Conceptualize, Apply, Act and Reflect
decision making.
Post activity talks consisted of discussions on learning from each enthralling activity. This simple exercise enabled us to connect each lesson learnt to our life back at home. The activities set up for us at the magic bus centre for learning and development truly reinstated the fact that learning by doing is the best way of doing.

Eggs and oaths are easily broken
The children were divided into five groups for this activity. The task required a lot of thinking. The challenge was to prepare an apparatus including the egg – which when dropped from a height, would ensure that the egg wouldn’t crack. The teams were given a total time of 20 minutes. The task was really challenging because it required an intelligent perspective to ensure the egg does not crack. The team brain stormed for ideas and came up with creative models.
At the moment of the drop test the teams were really nervous though excited. All the teams came up with excellent models and all the eggs were intact! There were many lessons we learnt from the activities. India is still a developing country and faces major problems of terrorism. Similar to the relationship we had with the egg, if humans had such caring relationships the world would be a better place to live in.

The Echoes Of Beauty You’ve Seen Transpire Resound Through Dying Coals Of A Campfire
The students were informed at the break of day about the camp fire that would be held at night. They were also given themes to prepare a skit. The activities of the day were interspersed with preparatory and rehearsal breaks. Eventually night arrived after a very scrumptious meal and pastas, pizzas, etc. The students gathered around a very cozy set up of a camp fire to display their theatrical talent about various social causes. Beside social issues, the children went on to show off their superb talents through comedy and singing. The magic bus team that had assembled in the arena, enjoyed the show immensely and just couldn’t stop laughing. They were moved by the maturity and the thought process of the students. All and all it was a fun filled evening. as floors and passed the tyres between
them and they could only handle one tyre at a time. The students had to be open for suggestions from group members and ensure that they communicated with each other to ensure that no errors occurred. The puzzle taught them to think logically under pressure and to be open to suggestions to solve problems faced daily. The skills learnt throughout the game focused on working with other people and trying to co-ordinate with each other to complete difficult tasks
Animal Treat
Animal treat is a complex puzzle with a playful twist! The story behind the game is this – A giraffe hosts a party on the second floor, our responsibility is to transport the party guests – an elephant, a cat and a rat safely to the giraffe’s house. The animals were represented by tyres while the floors were represented by three cones. The students had to tactfully transport the animals to the third floor ensuring that none of the animals die as the heavier one would crush the lighter animal. They had to discuss the optimum strategy to complete this task. Thus they formed a chain between three cones which acted

the top. Many tried many failed... But well tried. For rappelling the students were harnessed first and then they climbed to the top of the tower. At first what looked scary, was eventually a lot of fun. The students were very happy to have finished both the activities successfully. They imbibed the skills of team work since at all times the climber needed two people who were helping him by feeding the rope. The fear of heights was conquered by many and squeals of joy floated through the air.
The Wall
There are ups and downs in life. Here in Magic Bus, we witnessed both of them. The climbing and rappelling activities were conducted for all teams. The students were informed about the different safety instruments and their uses. The main goal of rock climbing was to reach the top of a wall which had small ledges at different places. First one required climbing on the right side of the wall, which was the easy task. The second stage, however, was a daunting task. It had an inclined ledge on to which the students had to climb on the way to
