Minnesota Morris broke the hearts of the Storm, scoring with 27 seconds left to defeat Crown, 37-33.

Martin Luther rallied for another come from behind win at Iowa Wesleyan, 28-21. The Tigers held a 21-7 lead with nine minutes remaining before the Knights scored 21 unanswered points.

Under the lights at home, St. Scholastica outlasted Northwestern in a 14-7 affair.

LOOKING BACK AT 2017

The Highlanders racked up 574 yards of total offense in a 48-34 win over Crown College. Se-nior running back Chazz Middlebrook found the end zone four times while rushing for nearly 300 yards on the day.

A 3-yard run by Middlebrook and a PAT from Noah Sandoval put MacMurray up early. Mac answered a Crown TD with a pass from Nathan Randall to Ian Leib. The Storm tacked on anoth-er touchdown before the end of the first, but the 2-point conversion failed, giving the hosts a 14-13 lead.

Devonta Preston recorded the lone score of the second quarter, a 7-yarder from Randall.

Marquez Ellison’s 12-yard run in the third put the Highlanders up 34-13. Crown scored late in the third and early in the fourth to shred the Mac-Murray lead to single digits.

Middlebrook answered with two more rush-ing touchdowns for a commanding lead in the fourth, helping the Highlanders seal the win.

Preston tallied 100+ yards receiving on the day while Randall threw for over 200 yards.
