1 Introduction
About this style guideThis style guide provides the rules and guidelines to create a consistent corporate iden-tity. It is through interaction with all touch points of our brand that long-lasting impres-sions are made in our customers minds.
These impressions form the personal relationships that are integral to our success. The consistency of our corporate identity ensures this relationship is carried through and reinforced with every interaction the customer has with all Mach Technology services and products.
By adhering to these guidelines you will be contributing to the creation of our identity and reinforcing the positive relationship we have with our customers.

2 Logo
The Mach Technology LogoThe Mach Technology logo should not be altered in any manner that is not described in this style guide.
The Mach Technology logo is distributed as an Encapsulated Postscript fi le (EPS) and should never be recreated. The logo should never be distorted or stretched.
The following pages refer to visual examples of the correct use for the Mach Technology logo.
The logo for download can be found in the Media Centre section of our website.

White SpaceIn order to be displayed clearly, an area of white space must surround the outer portion of the logo. No other elements must be placed within this boundary. The clear space should be the equivalent of the x-height, as displayed below.

The QEC LogoThe QEC (Quality Endorsed Company) logo must be included in all Mach Technology’s branding and marketing campaigns.
The QEC number, 23801, must always be included at the base of the logo.

4 Typography
TypefacesThe typefaces are an essential part to the companies branding and are
carried trough out all aspects of the promotional marketing.
Century GothicCentury Gothic is a geometric sans-serif typeface designed for Mono-type Imaging in 1991.
Century Gothiic is used on the words ‘Mach Technology’ and ‘We solve the technology puzzle’
MyriadMyriad is a humanist sans-serif typeface designed by Robert Slimbach and Carol Twombly for Adobe Systems.
Myriad Pro can be used for headings, and needs to be in bold.
* Note: Calibri should be used for body copy in word documents and emails for improved legability. Calibri is the default font used in Microsoft Offi ce 2007, and was designed in 2005 to take advantage of MIcrosoft’s ‘ClearType’ rendering technology.

Library imagesPhotography and stock imagery must refl ect the brand values of Mach Technology. We are currently compiling a stock library database which will be used for future marketing material.

DocumentsThe latest Word and Powerpoint documents for quotations and presentations can be found on the Mach Wiki under Corporate Documents.

WebsitesAll websites built by Mach Technology must contain references to the brand.
As default, ‘Website design by Mach Technology’ should be included in the title of every page.
The following should be credited in the head tag:

Each website should use the standard 16x16 favicon:
The footer of all web pages must contain the following image, which links to the Mach Technology contact page. The ALT tag should read ‘Contact Mach Technology for website design and hosting solutions’.
