Main Scope &
Conducting conceptual studies for proposed brownfield projects.
Preparing Scope of Work and Basis of Design documents for engineering contractors to design
and implement brownfield projects and studies.
Review, approval, and follow-up of Contractors’ deliverables to ensure compliance with project
requirements and Company standards.

engineering for the Brownfield Projects in compliance with industry and corporate standards.
Carrying out process studies and calculations to support ongoing operations and define
proposed modifications.
Projects Examples of Projects accomplished during this period:
Re-design of the produced water handling system in the onshore plant reducing the amount of hose
connections in the process plant and removing 100+ daily truck movements from inside the process area
to outside the fence.
Process study for bypassing the gas dehydration package and the effect on plant performance and export
gas specs, facilitating the maintenance/repair of a critical fired heater with minimal interruption to gas
production
Study on the feasibility of injecting foamer to subsea wells using existing chemical injection units to
minimize CAPEX expenditure
Study on the feasibility of interconnecting the firewater network of the two neighboring plants, and
develop an integrated hydraulic model for the firewater system.
Developing safe solution to protect against High-Pressure gas breakthrough risk onshore and offshore,
and maximizing the allowable liquid production rates to avoid liquid bottlenecks in the system
